Join us for Powered by Pike — a special one-day event honoring Pike County’s proud past and promising future in the energy industry. This unique celebration will feature historical artifacts and images from the Museum of the Coal Industry, the Pike County Public Library, and other local collections, all on display for the public to explore. Thursday, August 14, 2025 

📍 Elmer Buchta Technology Center, Petersburg, IN 

🕗 Exhibit Open: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM 

🎤 Opening Ceremony: 8:30 AM 

🍽️ Coal Miner’s Sack Lunch Provided (Registration Required) 

🥂 Evening Reception: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM 

Light breakfast, lunch, and hors d’oeuvres provided, 

The event will feature: A morning ceremony with guest speakers Themed lunch inspired by traditional miner’s lunch (registration required) An evening reception with hors d’oeuvres and community connection.

Free and open to the public – bring your friends, your family, and your curiosity as we celebrate what it means to be Powered by Pike.
